In Ramah a voice is heard, crying
and weeping loudly.
Rachel mourns for her children and
refuses to be comforted,
because they are dead.
Jeremiah 30:15 CEV
An
original felt pen composition by Vivian Au, age 7
Do you see two doctors with knives ready
to kill the babies?
Do
you see people standing by, pleading and crying out
against this act?
Do
you see the unhappy sun up in the sky?
Do you see that America is failing in
her duty to protect the innocent,
the
helpless, the vulnerable, the unborn?
Rescue any who need to be saved,
as
you would rescue someone from a fire.
Then
with fear in your own hearts,
have
mercy on everyone who needs it.
Jude
23 CEV
The artist was asked to draw a
picture about how she felt about abortion
near the period of time in the United States
of America when the issue of stem cell
research had come up for vote in the House of
Representatives. The proposed bill that would
have allowed and motivated stem cell research
to take place in the USA on a wide scale was
struck down in the House. This drawing was
first published on the Internet a few days
following that decision.
